Our front-office systems are designed with the advisor in mind.  We don't just use Winfund, we help advance it.  Over the last decade we engaged our service suppliers like Winfund and challenged them to develop and expand their tools to fit our advisors' needs.  The result?  Perhaps the most robust utilization available on all of our third party platforms.

Commitment
At GP, we're committed to putting the needs of our advisors at the forefront of the decision-making process.  That's why we formed our Advisor Committee.  The input from this group is vital to the firm's success in properly implementing strategy.  It is a collaborative endeavour in the truest sense.  Any new advisor is immediately invited to the next Advisor committee meeting.

Our commitment doesn't end there.  If you want to grow your book by acquisition, we'll provide funding.  If you have a desire to divest, we'll facilitate that process by working with you to develop a succession plan that's best for you and your clients.  We will also provide access to professional resources in the form of dedicated tax professionals, estate lawyers, or the insurance services of our sister company GP Capital Insurance Agency Ltd.

Equity Ownership Program
GP was created from the start to be a partnership-driven organization.  To that end we have developed an equity ownership platform for qualifying advisors.  Our goal is to partner with advisors in a collective vision for mutual success   And we've created a system whereby our advisors can gain equity in more than one manner.  The bottom line?  We're committed to our advisors.

Compensation
GP works on a competitive grid-based system.  Retroactive bonuses for increased production are paid immediately.  And we add all FYC placed through GP Capital Insurance to gross mutual fund commissions in order to maximize your gross payout.  Individual and branch grid payout structures are available, each with extremely attractive thresholds. 

We built our advisor referral program to be an authentic incentive to any advisor. The bigger the book (or books) of business that you refer, the bigger the referral bonus. You referred it. You deserve it.

Value Added
We've developed a proprietary system of service and labeled it SIGNATURE SERVICE. Every aspect of this model, from its offerings to its presentation is designed to impress your clients and enhance their experience.  We've developed a Co-op program in which the firm contributes to the cost of a wide variety of advisor marketing and branding initiatives.  We assist you in producing personalized quarterly newsletters, personalized e-newsletters and customized research.  We support training by holding quarterly offsite training programs.  And we continually offer additional programs to our advisors negotiated through our strategic partnerships.

Understanding Compliance
In today's regulatory environment, compliance is not always the friendliest term.  At GP, we think differently.  Our compliance team is a vital part of a greater team and they relish that role.  Everyone on our extended team, from our President, to our compliance department to our staff and our advisors has embraced this concept and the result has been a strong and focused operation.  We are all on a first name basis and we understand that in order to provide the most ethical and compliant advice for our clients, we have to embrace the compliance process and utilize it to our benefit. 

Forward Thinking
We've focused our resources on the future.  For example, we have designed our platforms such as CRM, financial planning applications, product approval and compliance modules to incorporate a holistic approach to practice management.  The changes we're making right now anticipate the industry and regulatory changes that will occur so our advisors can proactively incorporate them into their practice.

We have organized our procedures and systems to ensure a smooth and timely transition for you, your team, and your clients.   • A dedicated transition manager will project manage your transfer process.
  • A dedicated contact manager will facilitate the communication process to ensure you are kept up-to-date on all aspects of the transfer.
  • Once transitioned, a dedicated practice manager will assist you and your team with everything from back office training to current procedures and policies.
